Our response to COVID-19

Health and wellbeing come first.

In these unprecedented times, CommonBond Communities is rapidly responding to the changing needs of our residents in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the uncertainty, the needs of CommonBond residents might evolve but won’t disappear—and our work doesn’t stop. Here are some of the measures we’re taking to address the health and well-being of our residents:

  • Halting evictions, waiving late-rent fees, and offering flexible rent payment plans.
  • Linking people to resources for financial support, food options, internet, and educational tools.
  • Delivery of food and cleaning supplies for our most vulnerable residents.
  • Outreach calls to isolated senior residents.
  • Provision of mental health resources for residents in need of emotional health support.
  • Economic counseling and assistance with unemployment and job applications.

We appreciate your partnership in helping CommonBond residents remain stably housed and connected to community. Please watch for updates and ways you can support our residents.

It’s more critical now than ever to ensure residents remain stably housed through these hardships. But that comes at an extraordinary cost to our organization, and we need extra help. Please consider making a gift so we can continue providing critical and responsive services.
