Our response to COVID-19

Health and wellbeing come first.

In these unprecedented times, CommonBond Communities is rapidly responding to the changing needs of our residents in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the uncertainty, the needs of our residents might shift but won’t disappear—and our work doesn’t stop. Here are some of the measures we’re taking to address the health and well-being of our residents:

  • Halting evictions, waiving late-rent fees, and offering flexible rent payment plans.
  • Linking people to resources for food options, internet, and educational tools.
  • Delivery of food and cleaning supplies for our most vulnerable residents
  • Outreach calls to isolated senior residents.
  • Provision of mental health resources for residents in need of emotional health support.
  • Economic counseling and assistance with unemployment and job applications. 
  • Continued pay for hourly CommonBond employees who are not able to be onsite at this time to ensure continuity for our residents. With this action, we will retain our team members so they can return to work as soon as feasible.
