On Saturday, March 24, we held the first CommonBond Communities Global Get Down! For a few hours at the Midtown Global Market, CommonBond staff and volunteers took to the stage to share our message that home is the foundation for everything in life. Attendees purchased Passports, which allowed them to experience foods from six different Global Market vendors. We also partnered with Eastlake Craft Brewery for the evening, with a portion of their proceeds benefiting CommonBond.
If you supported us at the Market, thank you! By purchasing a Passport, grabbing a beer at Eastlake, bidding in our silent auction, or donating, your support contributes to growing our Advantage Services programs. If you came and listened, we hope you’ll join us in advocating for safe, stable, affordable housing for all people.
We’d like to extend a special thanks to the Midtown Global Market for making this event possible, to Eastlake Craft Brewery for their partnership, and to the following businesses and individuals who donated items to make our silent auction possible: the Cycling Museum of Minnesota, Pierreclos Imports, BizzieBee Photography, Dar Medina, Jon Charles Salon, Holy Land, the Midtown Global Market, Eastlake Craft Brewery, and our own Maure Ann Metzger.
