Running for Shelter

The Hood to Coast Relay is the self-described largest relay in the world, with 1,000 teams making the 200-mile trek from tree-line on Mt. Hood to the Oregon coast. This year will be Running for Shelter’s last run, and we at CommonBond are so proud and grateful to be the organization this run benefits.

The team includes runners from around the country, many involved in affordable housing. In the words of the relay team:

“We look forward to getting the baton to the finish line with our team intact and injury free. However, the biggest victory Running for Shelter has had over the years is knowing that the miles we run and the dollars we raise help improve the lives of lower income residents across the country, including those served by CommonBond Communities.”
