Health & Wellness

We offer a variety of in-person and virtual wellness and exercise programs for older adults. Classes are free to residents and open to community members.

Through Health & Wellness programs, our focus is on helping residents maintain and enhance their physical, mental, and social stability. This can empower residents to live independently and stay in their homes.

Here are some of the classes we offer:

  • Stay Active & Independent for Life™ (SAIL) is an evidence-based strength, balance, and fitness program for older adults.
  • Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance™ (TJQMBB) is an evidence-based fall prevention program for community-dwelling older adults.
  • Living Well with Chronic Conditions is an evidence-based program that provides great information and practical skills for managing pain and fatigue, healthy eating, physical activity, making informed treatment choices, and talking with your doctor and family about your health concerns.
  • Walk with Ease is an evidence-based program for people with joint pain (or anyone who wants to improve their health) to start walking safely.

"One takeaway from the chronic pain class was feeling you're not alone. We had freedom expressing ourselves in an accepting atmosphere."
