Alecia joined CommonBond as Vice President of Advantage Services in May 2023. Alecia is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, management, and evaluation of CommonBond’s Advantage Services across the portfolio. Alecia is a dynamic leader and advocate with over 15 years’ experience working at the intersection of housing and people. She has led interdisciplinary teams to implement human capital and community development strategies to achieve equitable results for kids and families and has facilitated several community-based decision-making processes. Prior to joining CommonBond, Alecia was a Regional Vice President with Urban Strategies, Inc. where she led local teams implementing data-driven, place-based strategies in mixed-income or federally-subsidized housing communities in MN, OH, PA, OK, TX, and NY. Alecia also worked with survivors of domestic violence to rebuild healthy social supports and achieve self-sufficiency through the Sojourner Project. Alecia holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bethel University.
