Angela Riley joined the CommonBond team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in January 2021. In this role, she works with CommonBond’s Board, executive team, and staff to lead the organization’s strategic direction and mission by directing the finance, accounting, and IT teams with a lens of risk management and stewardship for CommonBond’s activities.
In addition to her technical expertise and experience managing finance and administration in both for-profit and nonprofit settings, Angela brings a strong commitment to CommonBond’s mission to create equitable housing that’s affordable to all.
Angela has broad-based expertise in finance, business development, corporate governance and administration including, IT, HR, Legal and Compliance. Prior to joining CommonBond, Angela served as Executive Vice President, CFO, Treasurer & Corporate Secretary for St. Catherine University. Her previous experience includes for-profit organizations like Imperial Plastics, Northern Contours, Ball Corporation, Dain Rauscher, Honeywell, and Price Waterhouse Coopers. She has also lived and worked outside of the U.S., including many years in Western Australia where she was a co-owner and manager of a 3rd generation family farming business, a director for the MG Indigenous Corporation, and Horizon Power.
