As a Housing Development Associate, Katlyn’s responsibilities are to assist with all phases of CommonBond’s development projects. This includes researching and assessing the feasibility of potential sites, completing applications for project financing, and managing project budgets. Prior to joining CommonBond, Katlyn worked in architecture; she has over 10 years of design experience at various architecture firms throughout the Twin Cities, and she has over 6 six years of project management experience working for the University of Minnesota’s (UMN) internal design-build unit. Katlyn holds a dual Master’s degree in Public Health (UMN Public Health School) and Urban and Regional Planning (Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a minor in Sustainable Studies (UMN Design School).
